SRAM and Trek have come together to create a fund called World Bicycle Relief.  The purpose of this fund is to purchase bicycles for refugees that are trying to regain their livelihood after a disaster.  The first project for this fund is in Sri Lanka, where the fund will be providing 24,000 locally made bicycles to men, women and children whose livelihoods were destroyed by the Tsunami.
